Project description
OBO products from the building installation and industrial installation area have been part of the renovation of the operating rooms and the recovery rooms of the AZM hospital in Maastricht. The complete renovation has been done in five phases from 2015 to 2020. Everything was demolished and then reinstalled. Now the OBO products can be found in all operation rooms, in the recovery and washing rooms.
Why did the customer choose OBO products?
The customer has chosen OBO products because we could supply the 1.5 mm thick cable trays as a standard product.
Were special solutions used?
OBO delivered the SKS Magic cable trays and steel device installation ducts. The SKS Magic cable trays are simple, functional and robust. Due to their patented click connection they allow a simple installation and are versatile in their applications.
What type of challenges occurred during construction?
A challenge of this project that required particular atttention was the variety of installed cable trays in very narrow spaces and a lot of further installations in the ceiling.
