The new portfolio of OBO BFK beam clamps enables direct fastening of cable trays and mesh cable trays to steel beams. The portfolio comprises a total of 20 items, four of which offer the completely new function of the pre-flange variant. Overall, the portfolio has been expanded by eight additional sizes. The lengths of the beam clamps have been adapted to the nominal widths of the cable trays. This makes both product selection and the assignment to the respective cable trays and mesh cable trays easier. In addition, new widths have been introduced. Previously, the beam clamps were compatible with the 100 mm mesh cable tray/cable tray width. Thanks to optimisation, they are now suitable for widths of up to 300 mm.

Optimised details provide installation advantages

The beam clamps offer the option of vertical and horizontal mounting on the steel beam and in front of the flange. A pressure plate ensures better load distribution which also reduces the risk of potential damage to the surface of the steel beams. An additional lock nut fixes the tightening torque and prevents it from loosening throughout the product’s  entire service life. The optimised hole pattern on the support surface offers a further advantage for fastening mesh cable trays and cable trays. This is because the slots and centre holes allow flexible and precise mounting of the cable support systems.

Robust surfaces, broad compatibility

Available in hot-dip galvanised (FT) and stainless steel (A2), the beam clamps are optimally matched to a wide range of different application environments. They cover a clamping range of up to 28 mm. This ensures compatibility with common steel beam profiles such as HEB, HEA and IPE.
