The OBO EcoLine: Our portfolio for uncompromising CO2reduction

The next big step: the OBO EcoLine – cable support systems made from CO2reduced steel as well as connection and fastening systems made from recycled materials with a proven lower CO2 balance.
The OBO EcoLine at a glance
With the OBO EcoLine, we offer a broad, logically structured product range parallel to the standard line. Of course, the OBO EcoLine has the same quality and load-bearing capacity as our standard products, full compliance with standards, and unchanged technical properties. The OBO EcoLine is 100 % compatible with existing OBO systems. No adjustments or additional planning or installation work are required. We provide all relevant evidence, CO2 data, and certificates for planners and purchasers. The OBO EcoLine thus strengthens our pioneering role in the field of sustainable electrical installation and combines proven OBO quality with new sustainability expertise.
The key advantage of OBO EcoLine is the verifiable reduction in CO2 emissions through the use of materials with a certified CO2 balance: recycled plastic in the connection and fastening systems and CO2-reduced steel in the cable support systems. Delivery includes a CO2 product passport and certificate – suitable for tenders, reporting, and verification.

Cable support systems made from CO2-reduced steel
The OBO EcoLine cable support systems are made from certified CO2-reduced steel and have a CO2 footprint that is up to approx. 60% lower. We offer a wide range of cable support systems, which are available alongside the standard line. These include: The RKSM cable tray, with moulded parts such as longitudinal connectors, bends and add-on branch pieces. The OBO EcoLine cable support systems are also characterised by their consistently high corrosion protection and long service life.
Sustainable connection and fastening systems with CO2 savings
In the field of connection and routing systems and fastening materials, we offer the OBO EcoLine T40, T60 and T100 cable junction boxes with plug-in seals and in closed versions, the A8 and A11 cable junction boxes, M16–M40 quick clamps and 10, 20 and 40 grip collection holders – in other words, a complete portfolio of sustainable plastic solutions for cable and pipe installation.
The products have a proven, improved CO2 balance of up to 60 % and contain between 50 and 70 % recycled material. Recyclates originate from the waste of plastics processing companies. This plastic waste is not simply disposed of, but processed, sorted and cleaned, so that at the end of this process, the result is sorted plastic waste that is ready for recycling. This is then purchased by companies such as OBO and processed into products such as the EcoLine.
