Modul-45® sockets :Space-saving installations conveniently implemented
With the announcement of the new socket standard DIN VDE 0620-1:2021-02, we at OBO began developing a new generation of sockets, which we are now presenting at Light + Building. Our development focused on safety and reliability. In addition, we use recycled plastic in our new sockets, which reduces CO₂ emissions by up to 62% compared to conventional sockets. With this product line, OBO is also making a clear statement in favor of climate-friendly and sustainable construction.
The new generation of sockets at a glance
- Suitable for rigid and flexible cables with a nominal cross-section of 1.5 mm² and 2.5 mm². Particularly practical: Both cable types can be connected at the same time.
- Quick and easy installation thanks to tool-free cabling via ergonomic, lockable cable release buttons.
- Colour coding of the cable release buttons in the colours of the neutral, outer and protective conductors.
- Convenient handling thanks to ergonomic housing design and bevelled cable entries.
- Separate dual connection points for phase and earthing are clearly arranged on the edge of the housing.
