Quickly and safely fasten air-termination rods (up to 4 m) to metal roofs

With the new OBO air-termination rod fastening, air-termination rods with a diameter of 16 mm can be fastened quickly, easily and securely to metal roofs..The fastening cross can be adjusted to various fastening distances. When using the air-termination rod fastening together with the OBO round wire connection terminal for air-termination rods and the OBO 8 mm round conductor, it can be used for lightning currents up to 100 kA (10/350) in accordance with DIN EN 62561-1. The fastening can be used to protect roof structures, light domes and more on metal roofs. It is available in two versions: one with Kalzip fastening points for Kalzip metal roofs, and another flexible version for use on other metal roofs.This variant does not have any fastening points, meaning additional hold points are required for the respective flat roof. As a support for higher wind loads or longer air-termination rods (up to 4 m), the air-termination rod fastening can be reinforced with additional side supports.  

The air-termination rod fastening made from V2A stainless steel is quick and easy to mount and features a freely adjustable air-termination rod angle up to 38 degrees. The fastening is suitable for OBO-101 VL air-termination rods from 1.5 to 4 m. The air-termination rods are designed for gusts up to 275 km/h in accordance with Eurocode 1 (DIN EN 1991-1-4 + DIN EN 1991-1-4/NA). This varies depending on the requirement and support.
