LKM wiring trunking

A sturdy system that has proven its worth even in rough conditions – that is the LKM wiring trunking from OBO. In the area of machines and plants, the trunking provides reliable routing of cables. The wiring trunking forms a closed system permitting easy retrofitting also with pre-terminated connectors as well as protecting reliably against mechanical loads and dirt. These features mean that the system is ideally suited for the use in rough industrial environments. In addition, the LKM 20030 and 60100 wiring trunking is tested and approved to DIN 4102 Part 12 as a cable-specific routing type for the maintenance of electrical function.

Edge protection rings can be retrofitted easily

The edge protection rings of the LKM wiring trunking system have been optimised and redesigned once again, and now offer the benefit of easy retrofitting. They can even be installed when the trunking is already mounted to the wall or already equipped with cables. This means substantially improved functionality and even more flexibility. An improved feel and look as well as halogen-free material are further benefits of the edge protection rings of the LKM system.

In addition, there are now closed end pieces available in the same build as an alternative to the end pieces made from stainless steel.

The flexibility and safety features apply not only to the edge protection rings but also to the entire LKM system. The wiring trunking is available in ten different trunking sizes and in the two surface versions, FS strip galvanised or FSK strip galvanised, as well as surface-coated in pure white. This means the right version for different installation environments can always be found. The equipotential bonding between the upper and the bottom part as well as along the length of the trunking is ensured without any extra connection cables. This saves time and provides reliable protection.
