OBO NetDefender: Robust protection for CAT6A high-speed networks

Tested transmission quality in networks up to 10 Gbit/s

The NetDefenders combine coarse protection (D1), medium protection (C2) and fine protection (C1). The protection devices, tested in accordance with IEC 61643-2, are available as a variant with RJ45 STP or LSA+ connection options on the input side and as RJ45 STP on the output side. They support Power over Ethernet ++ (PoE++ / 4PPoE) up to 1 A in accordance with IEEE 802.3 and have a tested transmission quality in networks up to 10 Gbit/s (class EA) or CAT6A.

Reliable protection, easy installation

The NetDefenders can be used, for example, to protect IP CCTV camera systems with PoE applications, to protect the data side of the PV inverter and to protect numerous industrial applications. The external earthing connection of the NetDefender ensures easy installation in all environments. Network installation cables can be connected directly to the LSA+ input.
