Tested for maximum load capacity and high load-bearing capacity

Mechanical load capacity

Heavy loads, stamping feet, dirt, dust – the enclosed, walkable cable tray system can handle all of this and more thanks to its ingenious system design. In rough environments, it protects cable reliably against damage.

At our in-house BET Test Centre, we simulate the loads that the walkable cable tray system has to withstand on a constant basis. During testing, we determine the maximum load capacity and carrying capacity of the system, as well as its resistance to dust and corrosion. The BKRS system was tested in accordance with all pertinent standards. This means that, as a systems provider, OBO places paramount importance on safety.

Quick start

Your benefits:

  • Through the use of a barrier strip, power, control and data cables are insulated according to DIN EN 50174, to ensure electromagnetic compatibility.
  • The trays and covers themselves provide perfect all-round protection for the cables.
  • The cable tray, cover and barrier strips have a continuous material thickness of 2 mm and are highly mechanically stable as a composite.
  • The walkable cable tray system complies with the valid product standard IEC 61537 – Cable management.
  • With the galvanised chequer plate cover, the system guarantees a footfall load of at least 350 kg according to EN 50085-2-2. Please note: These values depend on the installation type and are only achieved when the mounting specifications are complied with.
